Versa Shield™ Window Barrier Styles
Versa Shield™ Window Barriers are manufactured in two (2) basic styles: fixed and operable.

Fixed Style
The fixed style of window barrier offers enhanced security and protection from vandalism and glass breakage where egress is not required. The permanently attached barriers are also ideal for application at glass sidelites, vision lites and louvers in doors, and custom shaped windows.

Operable Style
In addition to providing the standard Versa Shield™ protection features, the operable style of window barrier is hinged to allow egress from the inside of the opening. From the inside, egress can be managed with a selection of security pins or spring loaded bolts. Note: this application is limited in scope as compared to the higher security level of the operable style of the Security Shield™ barrier.
