Mounting Options

Versa Shield™ Window Barrier Mounting Options
Versa Shield™ Window Barriers are manufactured to accommodate quick and easy installation by offering two (2) basic mounting options: face mount and inset mount.

Face Mount
The Versa Shield™ Window Barrier is attached to the building on the outside of the window opening, and mounts directly into the face of the wood, brick or concrete surround. Please see diagram below.

Inset Mount

The Versa Shield™ Window Barrier is attached to the building on the inside of the window opening (using ancillary angles or channels) when adequate reveal allows for this application, and mounts into the reveal substrate of wood, brick or concrete. Please see diagram below.
